Ferric chloride is a covalent compound, it also known as ferric chloride, chemical formula FeCl3,   it easily soluble in water and has a strong water absorption, it can absorb the water in the air and deliquescent, It breaks down into ferrous chloride and chlorine gas at high temperatures. Strong  humidity –absorbability, and can produce its dehydrate and hexahydrate ,easy  soluble in   water, ethanol.acetone.:. but insoluble in glycerol, or phosphorus trichloride.  Its aqueous  solution is acidic. Soluble in water, ethanol, ether and acetone, slightly soluble in carbon disulfide, almost insoluble in ethyl acetate.   Corrosive to meta

Application:

(1) Water treatment:   Waste  water-treatment in industries    , Ferric Chloride used to form floc out of the effluent and make the effluent transparent & free from impurities.

(2) Metallurgical industry: Ferric Chloride is corrosive for electronic printed board, chlorinating agent.

(3) Print industry: Necessary for the etching of photogravure plates for printing photographic and fine art images in intaglio and for etching rotogravure cylinders used in the printing industry.

(4) Dye industry: Used as oxidant and mordant.

(5) Medicine: Used in veterinary practice to treat overcropping of an animal’s claws, particularly when the overcropping results in bleeding.

(6) Organic synthesis: Used as catalyst, oxidant, and chlorinating agent.

(7) Other uses: Used for making ferric salt, pigment as raw material.

(8) Raku ware firing: Used in a technique of Raku ware firing, the iron coloring a pottery piece shades of pink, brown, and orange.

(9) it is used as a chlorination empirer for gold and silver extraction.

(10) The building industry is used to prepare concrete to enhance its strength, corrosion resistance and water resistance. Adding a small amount of ferric chloride solution to the mixed soil can increase the strength of its components and prevent water seepage.

(11) The soap industry is used as coagulant to recover glycerin from soap waste liquid.

(12) The glass industry is used as a hot coloring agent for glassware.

(13) Another important use of ferric chloride is in hardware etching, etching products such as eyeglass frames, clocks, electronic components, and nameplates.

Another important use of ferric chloride is in hardware etching, etching products such as eyeglass frames, clocks, electronic components, and nameplates. With the most favorable price, good quality, good service, by the majority of customers recognition and praise.  At the same time, to provide customers with all kinds of products technical support and market competition research, to help customers easily expand business, for the mature and development of the industry, together to create a better tomorrow.
